TRAIN THEM. TRUST THEM. LET THEM LEAD.

About Wood Badge
Are You Ready to Take Your Scouting Journey to the Next Level?
Since its introduction in 1919, Wood Badge has been an essential component in the success of the Scouts. Volunteers who complete Wood Badge training receive a certificate, neckerchief, a leather slide, and two small wooden beads on a leather thong.
Great leaders don't just build great programs — they build great leaders. Wood Badge is your opportunity to step outside your comfort zone, challenge yourself, and discover new ways to make a lasting difference in the lives of the youth and volunteers you serve.
Join fellow Scouters for an unforgettable experience filled with teamwork, hands-on learning, new friendships, and personal growth. You'll gain practical leadership skills, fresh perspectives, and tools you can take home and put to work immediately in your unit, district, and council.
Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or looking to grow into your next leadership role, Wood Badge will challenge you to think differently, lead confidently, and inspire others to reach their full potential.
Train Them. Trust Them. Let Them Lead.
Your Scouting journey has already made a difference. Imagine what you can do next!

Why Wood Badge
Become the leader who inspires others to become leaders.
Wood Badge is more than a training course — it's an investment in yourself, your leadership, and the future of Scouting. It's an opportunity to discover your strengths, challenge yourself, and learn how to bring out the best in the people around you.
Through Wood Badge, you'll gain:
Stronger Leadership Skills – Learn practical tools to motivate, guide, and inspire others.
Teamwork That Makes a Difference – Experience the power of working together toward a common goal.
Personal Growth – Step outside your comfort zone, discover new strengths, and build confidence.
A Network of Scouters – Build friendships and connections with volunteers who share your passion for Scouting.
Skills You Can Use Immediately – Bring home ideas and leadership tools that can strengthen your unit, district, and your council.
The impact of Wood Badge doesn't end when the course is over. The skills, friendships, and lessons you gain will continue to shape the way you lead and serve for years to come.
