Scouting is much more than a weekly meeting. Depending on your child's age and program, they may have opportunities to:
What can my Scout do?
Go camping and explore the outdoors
Learn first aid and other practical skills
Earn badges and awards
Go hiking, fishing, boating, and climbing
Participate in service projects
Attend camps and Council activities
Make new friends
Learn leadership skills
Explore STEAM
The goal isn't just to earn badges. It's to build confident, capable and responsible young people.
What do I need?
Don't worry about buying everything at once! Your unit leaders can help you understand what your Scout needs based on their program and Unit.

Uniforms
Your Scout may need a uniform shirt, neckerchief, slide, belt and other items depending on their programs.

Handbook
The handbook is an important resource for completing adventures, learning skills, and tracking progress.

Camping Gear
One of the best parts of Scouting is getting outside! Check out the Scout closet at the Scout office or consider donating.
