VENTURERS
Ages 14 through 20 years old
Venturing is a co-ed Scouting America program for young people ages 14–20 who want to take on new challenges, build leadership skills, and explore their interests. Venturers plan their own adventures, learn by doing, and work together through activities such as camping, hiking, community service, outdoor recreation, and other interests that inspire them.

Venturing is all about adventure, leadership, and doing things that interest you! Each Venturing crew builds its own program around the interests of its members. Activities might include:

Adventure: Camping, hiking, kayaking, climbing, and other outdoor challenges.

Leadership: Electing youth leaders, planning activities, organizing events, and making decisions as a team.

Personal Growth: Learning new skills, building confidence, and taking on new challenges.

Service: Helping local communities through service projects, volunteering, and conservation efforts.

Exploring Interests: From robotics and sports to arts, hobbies, and high-adventure activities, crews choose experiences that fit their interests.
